About

My dream of becoming a film director came true thanks to my senior thesis film, Mr. Bellpond.

A short that picked up a Student Oscar nomination, a couple of Emmy Foundation awards, and selections from festivals around the world.

That film launched everything. The YouTube channel I named after it — Bellpond — became the place where a self-initiated live-action Clash of Clans video got 63 million views and introduced me to the commercial world. The Harmon Brothers reached out and brought me in to help create one of the internet's first organically viral ad campaigns. From there: national broadcast work, gaming brand integrations, four feature films, and 15 years of directing that's reached more people than I can reasonably count.

Right now I'm building something new — a production approach that combines everything I know about directing human performance with an AI filmmaking pipeline I've spent the last two years developing. The work is faster, leaner, and still built around the thing that's never changed: a story worth telling and a performance worth watching.

I'm based in Utah. I travel for the right project. I'm also an accidental rockstar in Cambodia, being fluent in Khmer. But that's a different story. I can make a killer cup of coffee and a genuinely great ad.

Let's talk.
